Full Time/Part Time Seasonal Garden Center Sales Associate
Full Time and Part Time Openings Available.
Spend some time outdoors this summer! McNamara Florist is seeking to fill part-time and full-time seasonal positions. Must be available to work weekends. This is a seasonal position through June with peak hours during May and June.
GREENHOUSE & NURSERY DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS
- Wait on customers in a greenhouse environment.
- Nursery personnel are also involved in sales of product.
- Inform customers about the care, maintenance, and handling of flowers and foliage.
- Provide advice and suggestions for home decor, specialty gifts and flower selection.
- Prepare displays throughout the store as well as keep them looking fresh and nice.
- Exemplary customer service skills; professional and friendly
- Must be able to be proficient typist and basic computer skills knowledge with cash handling experience
- Available to work weekends.
- Able to be on feet and do lots of walking
- Able to tolerate environmental conditions (heat and cold and wet and dirty)
- Fast paced working environment
- Lift moderately heavy loads up to 40 lbs
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat
- Able to push/pull heavy loads
Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. No phone calls, please.
